Acadia transmission warning light came on, need somewhere near Al Qusais
Was driving back from a meeting today and my Acadia flashed a transmission warning and dropped into what felt like a lower gear for about a minute. It went back to normal but the light stayed on for a bit before clearing itself. I do not trust that it is fine just because the light went away. I need to get it looked at before it becomes a bigger problem and I am hoping to find a reliable GMC transmission garage near Al Qusais since that is close to my work and I can drop it off easily. Has anyone had a similar intermittent warning on their Acadia or Enclave and what did it turn out to be? Also if anyone knows a place around there that will actually scan the transmission codes properly instead of just clearing them and sending me off, that would be really helpful.
