Anyone else using these stackable crates for warehouse storage?
I'm in the middle of reorganizing our small warehouse in Jebel Ali and trying to figure out the best way to store all these loose automotive parts we've got piling up. I've been looking at different storage solutions and came across some really sturdy options while browsing through Crateco's website the other day. What caught my eye was this particular crate with lid that seems perfect for keeping dust and moisture out, which is a huge issue here with all the sand and humidity. I'm thinking of ordering a batch but honestly I'm a bit torn between the solid ones and the ones with holes for ventilation – we deal with both greasy parts and some textiles, so I'm not sure which would be more practical. Has anyone here used these for similar purposes? I'd love to know how they hold up over time, especially if they're stacked several layers high with heavy stuff inside. Do the lids clip on securely or do they tend to pop off if things shift around during transport? Also, are they easy to clean when they get all oily and grimy? I really don't want to invest in a bunch only to find out they crack or warp after a few months of use. Any real-world experience would be super helpful before I pull the trigger on this.
