CTS transmission acting up, anyone know a good Cadillac guy near Al Khan?
My 2015 CTS has started doing this thing where the gear shifts are getting rough, especially going from first to second when the car is cold. It smooths out once it warms up but I know that is not normal and I do not want to ignore it until something major fails. I live near Al Khan so ideally I want someone close, and a friend told me to look for expert Cadillac service near Al Khan but did not give me a specific name, which was super helpful of him. The thing is, I am wary of transmission work because that is where people really get taken for a ride. Has anyone had their Cadillac transmission looked at locally and was the diagnosis honest? Also curious whether these issues are usually just a fluid and filter thing or if it is a sign of something worse with the torque converter. Would rather deal with it now than end up stranded somewhere on the road.
